​Objectives of the Association

Our objectives are as follows:

1. To be the channel of communication for Trainees of all Nationalities, working in all countries.

2. To advocate for Trainees in matters relating to the educational experience, especially on issues that have global implications.

3. To produce and/or coordinate education and study material to assist Trainees, especially in the form of written resources, video, and podcasts.

4. To promote international relationships and cooperation in research and training opportunities.

5. To assist in the advertisement and access to local and international Fellowship positions.

6. To promote and facilitate access to philanthropic opportunities in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
